Lloyd and Angeleen… two people I have known for a while as ‘family of a client’ now turned friends.  The day Angeleen said she wanted me at her wedding, holding a camera “and nobody else” her excitement was evident.  She is officially the most joyful, excited bride I have ever worked with.  Her excitement and joy could not be dampened on the day when a few logistical things happened at their wedding venue and the decor and reception set up was only ready after sunset.  This bride knew that nothing mattered, other than two souls becoming one on this beautiful day.

If you have ever been to Mauritius, you will know that this place has some of the most beautiful landscapes and really beautiful people.  The hearts of the local folk leaves you with a warm heart when you leave.  If you find yourself in Mauritius sometime, take some time to spend with the locals.  Spend some time in their villages and just listen to their stories.  You will be richer for it!

With the couple staying at and having their reception on the beach at Hotel Le Touessrok, they had their ceremony take place on a little uninhabited island just off Mauritius,  Îlot Mangénie.  A tiny little paradise.

Months of careful planning.  Patience with travel arrangements, hotels and wedding coordinators and getting everything in Mauritius…  All of it worth it when everything falls in place and a day a bride and groom dreamed of unfolds with perfection.
